About Alicia

As a lifelong learner, I have accumulated many certifications, and spent 1000’s of hours researching and integrating those learnings into my everyday.

As a teenager, I was expelled from high school and, as a result, had to live in the mountains near the Chehalis River and began homeschooling. This was a pivotal moment in my life. Before homeschooling, I was a C student at best. Living in the outdoors, with a part-time job caring for the land and being responsible for my own school schedule, was exactly what I needed to focus and discover my strengths. I became an honors student, enjoyed the physical work, connected with the forest, and grew into an independent individual.

Years later, I attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and began working as a Nutritionist and Fitness Instructor. This marked the start of my journey into natural living, herbal medicine, foraging, and self-sustainability.

I continue this journey today, constantly adding new certifications and gaining more education and experience. I have a deep passion for the outdoors, local plants, wild food and medicine, healthy cooking, and functional plant art.
