About Alicia

Forager and herbalist focused on wild food, medicinal plants,
and simple, nature-based living.

As a lifelong learner, I’ve accumulated many certifications and spent thousands of hours researching and integrating those learnings into my everyday life.

As a teenager, I was expelled from high school and ended up living in the mountains near the Chehalis River, where I began homeschooling. That shift became a turning point. Before that, I was a C student at best. Living outdoors, working part-time caring for the land, and being responsible for my own schedule gave me the structure I needed. I became an honors student, found meaning in physical work, connected with the forest, and grew into a more independent person.

Years later, I attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and began working as a Nutritionist and Fitness Instructor. That’s where my path into natural living, herbal medicine, foraging, and self-sustainability really began.

I continue this work today. Learning, practicing, and building on that foundation. My focus remains on the outdoors, local plants, wild food and medicine, simple cooking, and functional plant art.
